We do quality restorations of almost any toy pre 1970 and your satisfaction is guaranteed.
These precious models are first carefully taken apart and then all the parts are bead blasted down to bare metal.
After the metal is cleaned of all paint and residue it is carefully inspected for any damage to the metal, like dents, corrosion, rust, etc. If any problems are found they are repaired with careful body work, sometimes just by straightening, welding or Bondo.
After all the damages are repaired the toy is then primed using several coats of automotive primer. The primer is sanded between coats and any damage that can now be seen is repaired.
The model is then repainted back to its original color using Dupont Acrylic Lacquer which is specially mixed to the original color using two coats of paint and sanding between them.
Finally new decals if required are applied and then the model is clear coated to protect the finish and the decals.
All model toys are then carefully packaged and shipped via UPS to the buyer or customer.
